Four Smart Ways to Make your Kids Smarter

Growth of a child, both physical and intellectual growth is influenced by various factors. The smart world is making money smartly on plenty of products that claim to boost the brain power. Kids’ products related to their physical and mental development are big business now! Everyone loves to raise their kid smart, make them smarter and outsmart others.

Spending too much on fancy products to make smarter isn’t a smart way at all! The brain development is all about the experiences, exercises and the perceptions that a kid’s brain receive. It is essential to stimulate the brain cells to connect with the world! For instance, differentiate between various flavors, vision, sounds, fragrance, etc. While these are very simple elements of stimulating the brain to learn different things, a little more complex connections is required to make your kids smarter! Early simulation, smarter kids!

Interaction and Communication

A study on brain growth in children revealed the fact that kids who lacked in interacting or communicating with the parent have stunted brain development.

Communication is an important element not just to develop language skills in your child, but also enable them connect with the world. Encourage conversation, talk with them and let them talk liberally. Kids who failed to express themselves by communication tend to suffer from depression.

Don’t halt the children from asking questions. The more questions they ask, the wider the knowledge would be. Try to answer all questions logically because kids are smarter than us.

Interaction with kids involve cuddling, playing, showering love and affection, conversation etc. All these interactions showed a stronger sign in brain development, which makes kids intelligent. One on one interaction and getting connection with kids make your little ones smarter.

Develop both sides of the brain

Logical thinking, language skills, reasoning, sequential thinking, being organized, precise, etc are the functions controlled and empowered by left side of the brain.

Right side brain controls and regulates the creativity and arts. Imagination, visualization, compassion, spontaneous, etc are the functions of the right side brain.

Develop both sides of the brain to make your kids smarter. Let them involve in activities that allow them think logically and work to train the left brain. Also, let them unleash their creativity or train them on any kind of art to develop right brain.

Free Play

Letting the kids play freely, with freedom and choices aids in improving memory and better learning. When the kids play without any restrictions, they learn to express their thoughts, feelings, share things, combine ideas and learn to join with others. Free play is the simple yet functional platform for kids where the social, physical, intellectual and emotional skills are developed, toned and enhanced.

Get them physical

Physical activity is not just for the body! The exercises not just strengthen the body, but also improve the brain power, which makes the kids smart. Exercises make the kids active, increases the blood and oxygen flow in the body. Increased flow of oxygen and blood rejuvenates brain cells and stimulate the generation of new brain cells. Simply it charges the brain, which makes the kids stay energetic and sharp for a longer time. Exercises are brain stimulators, sharpen the brain and make the kiddies smart.

Other smart tips to make your child smarter

  • Let them read books at early age to develop the habit of reading. Smarter people are great readers!
  • Let them read fairy tales – fascination, fantasy, thrill and adventure trains brain
  • Let them hear music – Music reduces depression and stress, improves brain function
  • Adequate sleep and rest – Crucial for development of brain
  • Breast feed the infants – Breast-fed infants tend to posses higher IQ
