A love of mom
MOM, the relation between a mom and a child is like a best friend. As best friends share their talk with each other, mom and child share their talk with each other. Without mom everyone’s life is INCOMPLETE......
One lady named Hilary and her son George went to Hilary’s friend Christina’s house. Hilary saw that her friend’s daughter Martha had beautiful room, Martha had a crib in her room, bathtub in her bathroom and room is full of expensive toys. Christina said ‘’my daughter play with her doll and throw it next day’’.
While coming to home Hilary thought about Martha’s crib, her bath tub and her expensive toys. Hilary thought that my son had only an aeroplane and he sleep in his cot. He had no crib.
When Hilary’s husband John came to home, Hilary shared all worries with him. ‘Isn’t there anything we can do to improve our situation? She asked.
‘’ I don’t know Hilary, my boss said that our company has financial problem and my job is also not secure’’.
Hilary got upset.
As her daily routine, she took John’s laptop and surfed on internet reading articles to improve her diary. She is just closing the laptop something caught her eyes. Reading articles for parents.
‘Contest for moms’ Hilary clicked on that link and read the first few lines. ‘Calling all the moms. Would you like to win 500? Share your experience of being a mother ‘.
DEAR GEORGE
I cannot even express how happy I was to see for the first time. You are so tiny, so delicate and so adorable.
Whenever I wear a new dress, you always split a little milk on it. To be honest I like my dress like that. A little stain where makes me smell just like you, and that’s my favourite perfume.
You sleep peacefully when I work, as soon as I decided to take a nap myself, you wake up all ready for action and fun. Though I am tired, all my weariness fades as soon as I see the way you smile at me and the way you giggle when I make funny faces.
Yesterday when we were in Christina’s house and I saw all of Martha's toys, I have to say that I have never felt worse we would love to be able to provide you with everything possible, and we’re sorry we can’t. Papa’s job is not secure, so we can’t spend too much money on toys for you. But we make sure that there is a smile on your face all the time. We give you all our love and time.
When you grow up, you will realise that this is the best and the most important thing that a child needs you have bought immense and happiness to our lives. You are the reason for our happiness, and we promise to always make you smile.
LOVE
MAMMA
Hilary did some final editing and posted the letter on website. She had completely forgot about the competition until one day a week later she received a mail. ‘’ you have won the contest’’.
She thought that she can support her family by her writing skills. She started a blog called ‘A MOM’S DIARY’. Every day she posted a page of her diary. Her followers grew and a publication house recognised her talent. They bought a copyright to her diary, and her first book was published.
Hilary became an author soon. She started earning enough to comfortably afford everything to the needs of George. Still she never forgot her promise. No matter how much work she had, George always came first. George was Hilary’s inspiration.
