“Salvator Mundi” is one of the outstanding stories of the first biannual International Short Story Contest 2018 written by Rushil Mittal, Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Delhi, India.

Salvator Mundi

Once upon a time there was a detective named Rushil. He got a MULTI-BILLION case of a painting named Salvator Mundi. He called his assistant and asked him to bring Salvator Mundi painting. He brought me the painting and told that the real painting has been stolen by someone. We have to find that person. The person has done his sign on the fake painting. His sign was P.M. Rushil decided to first investigate the art gallery. When they reached the art gallery, they had check every painter’s hotel room, house at last they met the announcer of the art gallery has given an invitation card for a party at 4:30pm. There they found a painter named as Mr Ben. He and Rushil become good friends. Mr Ben has decided that he will make a painting of Rushil and he has written his name on the painting. When he came back, he took his painting. His assistant asked from Rushil, “Can I see the painting?” Rushil allowed him to see the painting. They noticed Mr Ben has same signature or fake one and the criminal Mr Ben was arrested. Mr Abhay, who was painted of Salvator Mundi, gave them 1554000000 Dollar and holiday package in New York City. They stopped his car in the main road of the city. Then, he saw two people Moksh and Imaran. They were talking about the same monster that Navy and Army were coming to kill the monster. Once Imran went away, Rushil and his assistant went to Moksh to enquire about the Monster. He told them about the monster lake. Monster’s tail was coming out that’s why Rushil’s assistant ran away. Rushil jumped on the tail of the monster but tail broke! Rushil sank in to the water. He saw that Monster was worked by Dhruv who is the Mayor of the city and he had decided that the man who opened the Monsters Secret would be my hire or my followers but he said, “I don't want to be next Mayor of the city because I want to be a detective only.” Mayor paid him a lot. Mayor show each page in the City to Rushil and his assistant.
